The money (15 674, 40 GBP) was raised by Channel One television viewers and the readers of Rusfond. Further 8 000 GBP is required to cover the living costs in London, household expenses and expendable medical supplies such as catheters.

Even before birth, my son was diagnosed with numerous defects of the genitourinary system. After he was born, in order to restore the bladder function, my son had surgery to extract his ureters. His urethra was operated on twice. By 18 months, Misha's right kidney was not functioning and had to be removed, while the left was in danger due to the a vesicoureteric reflux (VUR) - where the urine does not pass out as normal but flows back into the kidneys. My son had constant inflammations of the kidney (pyelonephritis and cystitis) and the bladder. If we left everything as it was, we would have had to consider a transplant. Misha would have had to have spent his life in nappies that I would attach to his back (the urine from the extracted ureters constantly came out). Thankfully, Imran Mushtak - a renown surgeon agreed to see my son. Thanks to your help, last year we were able to see the surgeon. Thank you so much, you made a miracle happen! Misha has undergone a complex antireflux surgery, where his ureter was repositioned and his stoma was closed. My boy is now able to urinate without any help and I empty his bladder once a day using a catheter through a new stoma made on his stomach. Misha now attends a kindergarten, happily goes swimming in a pool and lives a life of a normal boy in general. Now my soon needs to be tested at the hospital in London. Doctors need to make sure that everything is fine. We cannot afford to pay the medical bill, please help us!

Paediatric urological surgeon at the Portland Hospital, Professor Imran Mushtaq (London, United Kingdom): “ We have performed a surgery that has corrected Misha's urination function. His left kidney functions as normal. In order to avoid any problems in the future, the boy must undergo an assessment for a potential correction to his treatment”.
