"Talent Worth A Million" contest finalist, DJ, a member of UNESCO choir - don't think that I am bragging, but this is all about my daughter. She also swims, rides horses, draws, sews and won a ticket to Eurovision in Baku. Recently she won a composition contest and will be going to the Paralympic Games in Sochi! And that's when she doesn't have control over her arms and legs! Ksyusha is suffering from cerebral palsy.  She, a goal orientated and hard working person, an individual, has been fighting with this illness throughout her life. During her childhood she persistently learned how to crawl, then to stand, and finally, to walk with the assistance of crutches. We visited almost every single sanatorium and rehabilitation centre in both Russia and Ukraine, and tried different types of therapy. Ksyusha underwent plastering and surgeries. But as of late her health started to deteriorate, her left leg is shrinking because of the difference in muscle tone. I insisted on tomography, but it turned out that the cause of most motor  abnormalities was spinal cord development anomaly. We contacted one of the clinics abroad, and we were given hope, that the spinal cord can be treated with surgery. As Ksyusha says: "Every person has a chance!" The clinic in London and You are our chance! Please, help Ksyusha! Tatyana Kaminskaya, Sverdlovskaya region.
