Celebrate the Russian Old New Year with friends of Rusfond UK

On the 13th January, an Evelyn Dee Lane Trio charity concert took place at Rossotrudnichestvo. We would like to thank everyone who came to congratulate and support Rusfond’s fosterling Danya Konev – over £1000 has been raised for his treatment!

The guests were excited to take part in a small charity auction and a special raffle with Vlad Basov and Marina Burima acting as hosts.

Works of art supplied by Ludmila Larkina – the director of the Artists’ House of Pereslavl-Zalessky were a hit at the auction.  Booksellers were particularly interested in the unique books given to Rusfond UK by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in London.

We would like to congratulate all of the lucky winners of our special raffle, where among others, prizes included: invitations to the Russian Ball, Valeria concert tickets, training tickets for Igor Korovitson’s Findbizcoach ‘Way of a Superstar’ and ‘Clever Psychology’, a Stolle restaurant meal voucher and a special bottle of Walnut & Spice.

We would like to thank Evelyn Dee Lane, Alisa Klimanska and Alice Jones for their talent, their professionalism, and their kind hearts. Evelyn’s pupils have raised the money for Danya, while Evelyn herself has offered to host Danya and his mother.

A special thank you to all of the employees of Rossotrudnichestvo for their help and their support. We would also like to thank our volunteers and Ekaterina Chernyaeva – the director of the Russian-Speaking Volunteer Bureau.

We have received numerous delighted reviews and this event would not have been possible without your help. We would like to thank Eugene Vasilyev for his photography!
